Jacinda Hughes Art & Photography

Where realms collide. TuleLake National Wildlife Refuge, Tulelake Ca., captured by Jacinda Hughes

Jacinda Hughes, a proud service-disabled veteran, has discovered a deep sense of healing through her journey into photography. After years of service, she turned to the Creator’s masterpiece, the untouched beauty of creation, as a sanctuary for reflection and restoration. Her work today is the culmination of a 30-year disciplined path. It began at age 14 with a beat-up 110 camera and was refined in the precision-driven world of Job Corps Lithography. Her technical soul was further forged during her time in the military, where discipline and detail were not just required, but foundational. Now a Litho-Monochrome Purist, Jacinda focuses on “Found Light.” She does not manufacture moments or rely on the artificial shortcuts of AI. Instead, she remains a humble observer of the light exactly as it was given before time was established. From the raw intensity of wildlife to the delicate intricacies of macro shots, her lens captures the landscapes that have become a reflection of her own soul: resilient, serene, and ever-evolving. Her work serves as a tribute to the solace and strength found in nature, offering a visual expression of her spiritual journey and inner calm. Jacinda invites others to experience more than just the beauty of the natural world; she invites you to see the sense of peace and connection that has transformed her life. Whether through fine art gallery exhibitions or collaborative album cover art for those who carry a deep message, her mission remains the same:
Soli Deo Gloria.
